Use StroboPLUS HDC's metronome and our Tempo Map creator tool to make rehearsal presets to practice your timing. In this example we have 2 bars of 7/8 with a click followed by 7/8 muted. This is then set to loop within the Metronome Configuration which will cause the preset to loop ad infinitum on the StroboPLUS HDC. Metronome tips! There is a lot you can do with the metronome, such as getting a 2-4 swing feel. First, we set the metronome to 180 BPM and play a scale with quarter notes. The feel is straight. Let's set the metronome to half-time or 90 BPM to get a swing feel. Consider the clicks to be your 2 and 4 counts.
