China’s Tianhe-2 retains fastest supercomputer title The International Supercomputer Conference held in Frankfurt, Germany, announced on Monday that China’s Tianhe-2, or Milky-Way-2, had retained its title as the fastest supercomputer in the world. This is the fifth time that the Tianhe-2 has topped the list of supercomputers since June 2013.
