The building which houses the Galle Fort Branch of Commercial Bank of Ceylon is one of the oldest buildings owned by the Bank. It was built in the early part of 19th century and was once a tourist hotel named 'Old Mansion'. Mr George Henry Bogger is listed in history documents as the first owner of this property.
