Offices in Richland and Lexington counties will open at 11 a.m. Monday, due to the inclement weather in South Carolina, Gov. Henry McMaster announced Sunday. An ice storm warning is in effect and is expected to run through Monday afternoon. The University of South Carolina will also delay opening until 11 a.m.

Beaufort County and much of coastal South Carolina and Georgia will likely be spared from wintry weather as winter storm Fern continues toward the eastern United States, according to a Friday morning briefing from the National Weather Service’s Charleston office.
