A storm moving across the country could bring 1 to 2 feet of snow to parts of Massachusetts and New England this weekend. It follows an arctic air mass with dangerously cold temps and wind chills.
Official National Weather Service forecasts say 12 to 18 inches of snow is possible across most of New Jersey and Pennsylvania, including Philadelphia as the storm pushes through the region Saturday night to early Monday morning. More than 21 states are expected to experience at least moderate impacts from the storm, the weather service said.
A winter storm is headed to the Tri-State Area with heavy snow expected. New Yorkers could see a significant amount with more than 6 inches Sunday night into Monday.
