A large group of protesters marched through downtown Seattle Saturday, calling for an end of federal immigration enforcement actions across the country.
Seattle businesses have posted about plans to take part in the nationwide protest, with participation ranging from closure to donating proceeds to nonprofits.
The Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) shared screenshots showing a large crowd while its cameras were offline. The cameras were believed to be offline in response to protesters who have called on the city to shut down surveillance cameras during demonstrations.
