UFC 324 fight card: Sean O'Malley, Umar Nurmagomedov among undercard fighters to watch in Las Vegas
UFC's first Paramount+ card is loaded with action-packed fights. Sean O'Malley, Derrick Lewis, Jean Silva and Deiveson Figueredo are just a handful of the knockout artists scheduled to compete. Then there are Umar Nurmagomedov and Natalia Silva, arguably the best contenders in their respective divisions. It's a stacked start on the UFC's new home.
Vasily Podkolzin didn't hesitate. Connor McDavid took a hit from Johnathan Kovacevic, and before anyone could blink, Podkolzin was charging in, gloves flying off, ready to answer for it. It was immediate.
Steveson (2-0) will take on Hugo Lezama (11-3) at Mexico Fight League 3, which is set for Feb. 19 at ShowCenter in Monterrey, Mexico. The promotion announced the matchup Sunday. In its social media post, the MFL said Steveson is "the planet's #1 heavyweight prospect."
In the main event, which emanates from T-Mobile Arena, Justin Gaethje and British star Paddy Pimblett will square off for the interim lightweight championship while top-five bantamweights Sean O'Malley and Song Yadong meet in the co-main event (after an injury to women's bantamweight champion Kayla Harrison postponed her superfight against former two-division champion Amanda Nunes).
A youth soccer and flag football tournament was canceled after a near 100-person fight broke out on the field.
Arman Tsarukyan has moved through 2026 like a man with something to prove. The UFC keeps hanging the lightweight belt just out of reach, Dana White keeps hinting at trust issues, and ‘Ahalkalakets’ keeps winning under every imaginable ruleset.
