Amidst uncertainty around Giannis Antetokounmpo's future, Bucks coach Doc Rivers says he considers Joel Embiid the most talented player he's coached.

Though Rivers was extending praise to his former player upon his impressive return, it was notable to hear him call Embiid the most talented player he’s ever coached since he is currently coaching a tremendous talent, star and champion in Giannis Antetokounmpo.

For one, Doc Rivers complimented Joel Embiid after the Bucks lost to the Philadelphia 76ers, calling the 2023 league MVP the most talented player he coached. Many felt it was weird for the head coach to say something like that, especially with the situation around the Greek Freak.
