Arctic cold pushes across the area late Thursday, sticks around through at least Saturday night. Areas of light snow, too. Prepare for the extended cold, including plans for livestock and pets. Dress in warm layers, hats, gloves, etc. #COwx pic.twitter.com/7dQ1YMNVk4
Two cold fronts will move into Texas this week, bringing cooler temperatures along with an increased risk of wildfires.
The first of two cold front over the next 24 hours is beginning to drop south across West Tennessee this afternoon. Showers will continue for the next few hours this evening before clearing out early tonight.
One more day with above average temperatures, then the chill arrives. Mostly cloudy on Wednesday with morning temperatures in the low to middle 30s and highs in the middle 50s. A strong cold front
We will see more (fresh) cold fronts in the coming weeks. The latter half of January will definitely be colder than the first half. Another thaw Monday/Tuesday, then a few subzero lows later this month. No big snowstorms in sight the next one to two weeks. Best I can do is a little rain on Tuesday. What a baffling winter, huh?
A potential cold front late in the week "could rival some of the coldest conditions seen so far this season in Florida."
The Fort Myers-Sanibel area is known for its glorious winter weather, with highs often hovering in the 70s and lows in the 50s. But two cold fronts are coming.
