A mountain lion recently spotted in San Francisco's Pacific Heights has been captured Tuesday, after it was seen around the neighborhood and at a nearby park.

After a brief traipse through San Francisco, the mountain lion dubbed 157M has been safely released back into the wild.

Officials urged the public to not approach the animal and to give it plenty of space if encountered.
